In the same way,<span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong> if we fail to take care of our small things, we may find it challenging to handle bigger or more consequential things in life.<\/strong><\/span> According to traditional Chinese wisdom, one must begin with disciplining oneself, then the family, before managing a country and conquering the world.\u00a0 Discipline must begin with the smallest details before working up to larger things. Jesus affirmed in the Gospel of John, Chapter 14, verse 12,<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_testimonial author=&#8221;(John 12:14)&#8221; disabled_on=&#8221;off|off|off&#8221; admin_label=&#8221;Bible verse&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; body_text_color=&#8221;#FFFFFF&#8221; author_text_color=&#8221;#FFFFFF&#8221; background_color=&#8221;#d43b3e&#8221; animation_style=&#8221;bounce&#8221; locked=&#8221;off&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVery truly, I tell you, the one who believes in me will also do the works that I do and, in fact, will do <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>greater works<\/strong><\/span> than these, because I am going to the Father.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_testimonial][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; animation_style=&#8221;fold&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>If we are willing to follow Jesus\u2019 call to serve God,\u00a0 we must begin with accomplishing the smallest things faithfully.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>God\u2019s will is present in all of our life\u2019s decisions, whether the major or minor ones. <\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>God forges us by beginning with small things, hoping that we will learn to listen to His voice in everything we do, and to trust and follow His will, so that we may fulfil our mission that He has bestowed on us.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;Blockquote&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; animation_style=&#8221;fold&#8221; locked=&#8221;off&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Therefore, do not neglect these \u201cduties of the moment\u201d. The \u201cgreater works\u201d are often the culmination of all these \u201cduties of the moment\u201d! When we ignore these duties, we are also choosing to ignore God. This demonstrates what Jesus described as being<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_testimonial author=&#8221;(Luke 16:10)&#8221; disabled_on=&#8221;off|off|off&#8221; admin_label=&#8221;Bible verse&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; body_text_color=&#8221;#FFFFFF&#8221; author_text_color=&#8221;#FFFFFF&#8221; background_color=&#8221;#d43b3e&#8221; animation_style=&#8221;bounce&#8221; locked=&#8221;off&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>\u201cfaithful in a very little thing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_testimonial][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; animation_style=&#8221;fold&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>As the Chinese saying goes, \u201ca day\u2019s plan begins in the morning\u201d!\u00a0 This saying is, indeed, full of wisdom. <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>\u00a0If we begin our work of collaboration with God, right at the crack of dawn, and endeavour to accomplish everything that God wants to accomplish through us, His grace and strength will overflow our lives right at the beginning of the day. In this way, we will be empowered and encouraged to fulfil life\u2019s great and small demands and overcome all challenges.<\/strong><\/span> In addition to\u00a0 tangible rewards, we can be assured that God will grant us <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>inner peace and joy<\/strong><\/span> if we follow His will in every decision we make. We will also feel fulfilled with our right decisions and celebrate a life that is wonderful and meaningful. By the same token, our last decision of the day, that is, when we go to bed, directly impacts our activities on the next day.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>From a different perspective, our decisions often, directly or indirectly,\u00a0 affect those around us.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_column type=&#8221;4_4&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;Blockquote&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; animation_style=&#8221;fold&#8221; locked=&#8221;off&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>God desires each one of us to become a conduit of His love for others. Our every single decision can have an immediate impact on our ability to be God\u2019s channel to convey His grace to whom we serve.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; animation_style=&#8221;fold&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>For instance, when we choose to say kind words to another person, we are also bringing tremendous benefits to him\/her.\u00a0 Believe it or not, one kind word can save lives.\u00a0 The better option is always choosing kind words over hurtful words in our interactions with others; indeed, this is more akin to God\u2019s Holy will.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>If we persevere in making the right choices, we will be able to establish appropriate and decent everyday habits. Gradually, this will have a positive impact on our lifestyle. Over time, our character traits and life will also be transformed, making it easier for us to bear good fruits a hundredfold.<\/strong><\/span> Such is the hope of our Lord Jesus Christ for us: to bear good fruits as He lives in us.\u00a0 This is also the greatest distinction between Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd, and our common enemy!<\/p>\n<p>In the Gospel of John, Chapter 10, Verse 10, Jesus said,<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_testimonial author=&#8221; (John 10:10)&#8221; disabled_on=&#8221;off|off|off&#8221; admin_label=&#8221;Bible verse&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; body_text_color=&#8221;#FFFFFF&#8221; author_text_color=&#8221;#FFFFFF&#8221; background_color=&#8221;#d43b3e&#8221; animation_style=&#8221;bounce&#8221; locked=&#8221;off&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. Father, I am willing! I want to know Your will intimately. I want to respond to Your invitation in every single detail in my life, and to faithfully fulfil Your mission for me. I am not going to neglect the minor decisions in my life but am determined to seek Your presence in each, and to closely collaborate with You in order to fulfil all the good things that You want to accomplish through me. I now freely offer my whole life as a pleasing sacrifice to You. Lord, may it be done to me according to Your word (Luke 1:38).\u00a0 For this I pray in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.\u00a0 Amen.<\/p>\n<p>Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
