instead He has given us freedom of choice. <strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">God never wants us to be His puppets; rather, He wishes us to choose Him freely, abide in and journey with Him!<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Very often, there is really no right or wrong choice. In fact, God never evaluates our every decision as a teacher would assess a student\u2019s test, conferring penalties according to the \u201cmistakes\u201d. In truth,<span style=\"color: #800080;\"> <strong>God desires us to make choices according to His Holy will because He wants the best for us; He knows what is best for us.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;Blockquote&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; animation_style=&#8221;fold&#8221; locked=&#8221;off&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>If we strive to choose God and His will in our lives, we will bear the fruits of the Holy Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (ref. Galatians 5:22-23).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; animation_style=&#8221;fold&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">By examining whether or not we are bearing these fruits, we can evaluate if we are abiding in Christ and living in the Spirit.<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Jesus explains in the Gospel of John, Chapter 15, Verse 5,<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_testimonial author=&#8221; (John 15:5)&#8221; disabled_on=&#8221;off|off|off&#8221; admin_label=&#8221;Bible verse&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; body_text_color=&#8221;#FFFFFF&#8221; author_text_color=&#8221;#FFFFFF&#8221; background_color=&#8221;#d43b3e&#8221; animation_style=&#8221;bounce&#8221; locked=&#8221;off&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am the vine, you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them<span style=\"color: #800080;\"> <strong>bear much fruit<\/strong><\/span>, because apart from me you can do nothing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_testimonial][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; animation_style=&#8221;fold&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>If we fail to cooperate with God\u2019s will, that is, being neglectful of life\u2019s choices, we become detached from the mystical Body of Christ.\u00a0 Not only will we be denied of the nourishment from the Holy Spirit, but will also face the consequences of what Jesus described in the Gospel of John, Chapter 15, verse 6, \u201cWhoever does not abide in me is <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>thrown away like a branch and withers<\/strong><\/span>; such branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned\u201d (John 15:6).\u00a0 Indeed, if we do not abide in the vine, <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>we cannot bear fruit by our own power<\/strong><\/span>.\u00a0 If we do not live in God, we can accomplish nothing (ref. John 15:4).\u00a0 Subsequently, our enemy can easily take advantage of the situation to gather us and toss us into the fire to be burned.<\/p>\n<p>Some of us may think, \u201cI am really terrible and am beyond help!\u00a0 Since I can\u2019t possibly fulfil what God has asked of me, why should I keep pressing forward, wasting time and energy?\u201d\u00a0 Rest assured, we must understand that God never demands perfection from us as it is impossible to be perfect by our human strength.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=&#8221;1_2,1_2&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_2&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_image src=&#8221;https:\/\/lent.fll.cc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/heart-hand.jpg&#8221; title_text=&#8221;heart-hand&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; animation_style=&#8221;zoom&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][\/et_pb_image][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_2&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;Blockquote&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; animation_style=&#8221;fold&#8221; locked=&#8221;off&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>God only desires us to follow the path of holiness, that is, to choose Him in every detail in our daily life, and become His faithful vessels of love. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; animation_style=&#8221;fold&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>In this way, He will be able to accomplish, what Jesus Christ described as, \u201cthe greater works\u201d through all of His children in this world, bringing forth His kingdom on earth, preparing the way for our Lord Jesus, and leading more sisters and brothers home to the Father\u2019s house.<\/strong> <\/span>Therefore, God\u2019s plan for each of us is not to cause us pain and suffering, but is <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>a plan of \u201clove\u201d and \u201chope\u201d<\/strong> <\/span>for you, for me, and all humanity.\u00a0 In the Book of the Prophet Jeremiah, God said,<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_column type=&#8221;4_4&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_testimonial author=&#8221;(Jeremiah 29:11)&#8221; disabled_on=&#8221;off|off|off&#8221; admin_label=&#8221;Bible verse&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; body_text_color=&#8221;#FFFFFF&#8221; author_text_color=&#8221;#FFFFFF&#8221; background_color=&#8221;#d43b3e&#8221; animation_style=&#8221;bounce&#8221; locked=&#8221;off&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">\u201cFor surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope.\u201d <\/span><br \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_testimonial][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;Blockquote&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; animation_style=&#8221;fold&#8221; locked=&#8221;off&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Each one of us is part of God&#8217;s salvific plan.\u00a0 It is God\u2019s intention to save us since we are His children, and at the same time, God has also invited us to be collaborators in His salvific plan.\u00a0 Each one of us plays a unique role in His plan and can make unique contributions. Everyone is indispensable.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; animation_style=&#8221;fold&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, we never have to confront our personal problems alone, nor participate in the work of salvation without support.\u00a0 In fact, we are different parts in the Body of Christ, and through the inspirations and empowerment of the Holy Spirit as well as the graces bestowed by God the Father, we can march forward together with confidence!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, when we feel discouraged and deflated, such is the opportune time for us to come before God, seek refuge in our Father\u2019s embrace, and cry out to Him for help.\u00a0 God has promised us that if we seek Him with all our hearts, He will answer our prayers!<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">In the Book of the Prophet Jeremiah, Chapter 29, Verses 12-13, God our Father said,<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_testimonial author=&#8221;(Jeremiah 29:12-13)&#8221; disabled_on=&#8221;off|off|off&#8221; admin_label=&#8221;Bible verse&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.14.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; body_text_color=&#8221;#FFFFFF&#8221; author_text_color=&#8221;#FFFFFF&#8221; background_color=&#8221;#d43b3e&#8221; animation_style=&#8221;bounce&#8221; locked=&#8221;off&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">\u201cThen when you call upon me and come and pray to me, I will hear you.
