Secondly, His words must have a tangible impact on our lives. <\/strong>If either of these conditions is lacking\u2014or if both are absent\u2014then God\u2019s words will not be able to take root and grow in our hearts.<\/p>\n<p>There are many factors that can disrupt this communication, some of which we have already explored earlier. Today, let us go deeper into the nature of God\u2019s messages for us. If we can form the right expectations, we will be able to tune the \u201cchannel\u201d of our hearts more precisely and thus not miss the words God has prepared for us.<\/p>\n<p>In order for God to communicate with us in more ways, we need to expand our spiritual horizons.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text disabled_on=&#8221;off|off|off&#8221; admin_label=&#8221;Blockquote&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.5&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; animation_style=&#8221;fold&#8221; locked=&#8221;off&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>We must be prepared not only to allow God\u2019s word to comfort and console us, but also to mold us, train us, and empower us. We must even allow Him to challenge us, prune us, and yes\u2014surprise us!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.5&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; header_5_font=&#8221;|700|||||||&#8221; header_5_text_color=&#8221;#750059&#8243; header_5_font_size=&#8221;18px&#8221; animation_style=&#8221;fold&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>If we are determined, like Jesus, to obey and carry out the will of the Father, then we must be fully prepared for all of these.<\/p>\n<p>How, then, do we prepare our hearts? <\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text disabled_on=&#8221;off|off|off&#8221; admin_label=&#8221;Blockquote&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.5&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; animation_style=&#8221;fold&#8221; locked=&#8221;off&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>We must \u201cexpect the unexpected.\u201d Because God\u2019s ways are far above our ways, we need to prepare our hearts to receive a calling that is greater and higher than anything we could imagine.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.5&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; header_5_font=&#8221;|700|||||||&#8221; header_5_text_color=&#8221;#750059&#8243; header_5_font_size=&#8221;18px&#8221; animation_style=&#8221;fold&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><strong>If we exclude everything that lies beyond our expectations or outside our \u201ccomfort zone,\u201d we are in fact limiting what God can accomplish through us.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text disabled_on=&#8221;off|off|off&#8221; admin_label=&#8221;Blockquote&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.5&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; animation_style=&#8221;fold&#8221; locked=&#8221;off&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Subconsciously, our limited thinking and our desire for comfort become a filter that blocks out God\u2019s voice, making it extremely difficult for us to hear the message He has personally prepared for us.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.5&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; header_5_font=&#8221;|700|||||||&#8221; header_5_text_color=&#8221;#750059&#8243; header_5_font_size=&#8221;18px&#8221; animation_style=&#8221;fold&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>Consider the profound astonishment and awe that the Blessed Virgin Mary experienced at the Annunciation and at the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text disabled_on=&#8221;off|off|off&#8221; admin_label=&#8221;Blockquote&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.5&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; animation_style=&#8221;fold&#8221; locked=&#8221;off&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>If her heart had not been prepared to receive the unexpected surprises\u2014indeed, even shocks\u2014of\u00a0 God\u2019s unfolding plan, she might have completely missed His words or worse, ignored and rejected it.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.5&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; header_5_font=&#8221;|700|||||||&#8221; header_5_text_color=&#8221;#750059&#8243; header_5_font_size=&#8221;18px&#8221; animation_style=&#8221;fold&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><strong>Yet, as beautifully captured in the Gospel of Luke: \u201cBut Mary treasured all these words and pondered them in her heart.\u201d (Luke 2:19)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Mother Mary pondered all that happened during Jesus\u2019 birth and childhood, treasuring these experiences by contemplating their deeper meaning.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text disabled_on=&#8221;off|off|off&#8221; admin_label=&#8221;Blockquote&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.5&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; animation_style=&#8221;fold&#8221; locked=&#8221;off&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>By \u201ctreasuring all these words in her heart,\u201d she acted as a faithful custodian, preserving the memories of these sacred encounters. Those who insist on remaining within their comfort zone tend to rely solely on themselves, handling problems only within the limits of their own abilities. <strong>As a result, their dependence on God is greatly weakened. God\u2019s active presence and involvement in their lives are hindered. They find it difficult to allow God to guide and empower them, let alone surrender to Him. <\/strong>In such a walled-off state, God\u2019s gentle yet unexpected promptings are inevitably missed or ignored.<\/p>\n<p>Today, let us ask the Blessed Virgin Mary to teach us the art of \u201ctreasuring\u201d and \u201cpondering\u201d in our hearts. Let us tear down the high walls of our comfort zones so that God\u2019s unexpected, challenging, yet glorious words may take root deep within us.<\/p>\n<p>Let us once again listen to and keep this Gospel message in our hearts:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cBut Mary treasured all these words and pondered them in her heart.\u201d (Luke 2:19)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row disabled_on=&#8221;off|off|off&#8221;
